How is Wii outdated, but PS3/360 not? I'm just as excited for Pandora's Tower as I am any other exclusive. I still have a pile of exclusives I need to beat.
Yea, WiiU is backward compartible, but only with Wii, not Gamecube. Thus I can't play Mario Kart and Smash Bros with a gamecube controller, or even DDR. Even then there are more unfinished Gamecube Games in my library (Baten Kaitos) to beat then Wii U games.
In the future I might become a Wii U fan, but with almost no good games yet, I think more Nintendo fans are still playing Wii then WiiU.
So Wii is still my vote, not WiiU.
I'm currently playing Donkey Kong Country Returns, and as soon as I finish Mass Effect 3, I will be taking on both Zelda's, both Metroid games, Pandora's Tower and Fire Emblem. 
Thus I'll be playing more Wii then any other console in 2013, but 360 will come a close second.
