It takes me at least 4-5 hours into a JRPG to start truly enjoying it.

And the thought that a demo has the ability to completely turn you around from preordering (I really want this game!) to I don't care about it anymore....

 

Man, that's just preposterous.

And that's the number 1 reason why I don't play any demo for games. I don't want it to ruin my expectations and experiences for the full game, especially JRPGs where story drive the games.

I'm at the point where I know what I like, and will buy it regardless of demo, reviews, etc. Nothing would have stopped me from this, same with Hyperdimension Neptunia V (pre-ordered), Atelier Ayesha, or Generations of Chaos.
