Not trying to be witty. I'm making an important point.
It's not hard for a book to satisfy the predictions of an older book. I could go ahead, compile a list of predictions made in the Old Testament, and write a fiction book about a series of events that satisfies every one of those predictions. That wouldn't make those predictions correct.
Also, the entire bible was written within a fairly restricted part of the world - we're talking Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries, pretty much exclusively. Kind of funny how your god ignores the Americas, Eastern Asia, Australia, and most of Africa, not to mention the northern parts of Europe, and all of the island nations. So don't bother trying to convince me that it's somehow a worldwide creation.
