ps3 owners don't want the game, it is completely broken...

I want it. I heard it was open ended and that it has loads of side-quests and HD towns. Also, the PS3 version may have more content or even be a remake like what they're doing for FFXIV.

side-quests and hd towns?  Those are the two features you are excited about?  The game is garbage, combat is broken, story is meh, technical bugs everywhere.  No, it isn't a good game.  If you want a good JRPG get Lost Odyssey, Last Story, or Xenoblade Chronicles.  Those are the three best JRPG's of the gen.

I own Lost Odyssey and have completed it twice. It's an amazing game. It's a bit linear for my tastes, though. The Last Story was good, but it was more linear than Lost Odyssey.

Xenoblade is the best JRPG I have played since FFXII. Best JRPG this gen, no doubt.

Also, I can look past technical bugs if the gameplay is fun and appeals to me. I've been watching bootleg DVDs for years. You know the ones recorded off a cinema screen and the cam is not steady and people sometimes walk past the screen? Yep, those ones. LOL! I've got desensitized to poor visual quality now. It don't affect me if the film or game is good to watch or fun to play. However, I do hope a PS3 version has all the technical issues removed.

well, the combat is probably the worst part of the game to be honest.  Your combat options are pretty much random, so if one of your groups needs to heal and the option isn't there, tough luck.  Frustrating deaths is pretty common since you have little control of the actual combat.

Also, the game is more linear than lost odyssey, so again, you should probably be playing skyrim...
