I own about 60 retail Wii games, about half of them third party.
Now, where I am to blame is that I bought most of these at reduced prices, long after release. :-/
Only Nintendo manages to keep their games at or close to release price, and eventually I'll cave in and get them, but many other games dropped too fast in price for me to trust the release tag being reasonable.
