A somewhat legit excuse, though that is one excuse that I'm afraid of.

Developers not porting or multiplating to Wii U, because they THINK they need to do something unique or special for the Wii U.

They need to realize that you can have normal games on this device as well, it doesn't need to be tailored to use the gamepad in some unique way or any wii motes. Just have it be normal.

i agree with this, but i can see where they are coming from, they have to give incentive to Wii U owners to buy their game. ANd if its just going to be the same thing as the game a person could get for a system they already own, it would be redundant. Especially if its going to be a late port.

I understand from a Late port point of view.  But if same release date then there is no excuse.  Let consumers decide if they "need" an incentive or are just fine with the same gameplay.    If I own all 3 consoles, 360, PS3 and Wii U.  If a game is released on all 3 at same time and all play the same, I'm not going to ignore the Wii U one because I feel it should have some feature or gimmick.  I would buy it for probably whatever console I like the most for whatever reason.  Whether its nestalgia fanboy reason, controler comfrot reason, trophies/achievements ect reason, Live/PSN/network, ect.

I'm NOT going to be like as I said "screw Wii U, they didn't utilize it as they could have"  I'll be like "hmm I have a choice on the system of my preference"

I see where you're coming from. But looking at the sales for multiplat games that have come out for Wii U...I could see why some publishers would not want to bother, not saying i agree with them, but i do get it. I dont even think its up to the actual devs, I dont think they have that much say so.
