Good for you pre-ordering GOW:A. I'm not saying that it's wrong to buy these shorter games. I'm just saying with the high $60 launch price why they wouldn't wait until a lower price.

Depends on who you're talking to. With me you're talking to a hack n slash fan who knows how to find the gameplay hours out of hack n slash titles like time attacks, survival and other unorthodox challenges. Truthfully, I dont go looking for these things, they are already in the game and they satisfy my thirst for a challenge. The general public tend to ignore all the challenges and focus only on the story and then throw the game away and this is why the games are never mastered. I dont look to play the game just for the story but to break down the gameplay mechanics and master it. Anyway, outside of the God of War franchise hack n slash sales are pretty slim. DmC has more than enough gameplay to keep me busy for 35+ hours (two playthroughs + Secret Missions+ Vergil DLC and Bloody Palace Missions) and the. I've seen Ninja Theory's games since the first and I think they show signs of a great story based action/adventure company next gen. They are learning and growing with every game and sooner or later they will nail it. This is my first time buying a Ninja Theory game first day.
