not really, considering two of the most hyped games this year are The last of us and beyond two souls and those are the two biggest example of when sony gave their devs the freedom to create the game they wanted. 

I'm pretty sure God of War: Ascension (Sony) and Grand Theft Auto: 5 (Rockstar) have bigger hype.

We'll you can see that Playstation delivers many games every year that gets gamers blood pumping.
