This thread is very funny. I don't know what it has to do with video games, but some of this was just hilarious. Dinosaurs and humans coexisting, funny stuff. (well not if you consider birds to be the descendants of therapod dinosaurs... but hanging out with a T. rex... just too funny)
The Earth will most definitely end... life on earth as we know it is not likely to survive another billion years given the life cycle of the sun. The planet's orbit may decay and fall into the Sun in the late red giant phase billions of years after that. However the planet will be quite dead by then. A few other things could happen in the mean time, but humans will be long extinct before any of the truly bad stuff starts.
My advice, don't worry about it and prep for the zombie apocalypse, far more likely than the end of the world in 2050. The odds of a zombie Apocalypse are essentially zero unless you count the 28 days later variety which would increase it ever so slightly.
