THE EXACT THING. Heavenly Sword especially. 

There is no way in hell that I'm paying $60 for a launch version of God of War of Heavenly Sword that realistically will only be played a couple times AT MOST. I'd wait for the price to go down, or better yet I'd rent/borrow from a friend and complete the story. 

Even though I love supporting my Ps3 and Sony as a whole, that's $120 that I just potentially saved, and I have both game experiences fully enjoyed.

This is why God of War Ascension is going through its little multiplayer metamorphosis. Sony is taking notice to what consumers consider a value for $60. If a game sells well, first party console manufacturers sell their games at $40-30 with the DLC packed in.
