I've used SLI before, I personally don't recommend SLI unless you're going the top of the line rig where the only way to get more power is to add it. Or if you get some deal where you buy both cards at the start and it clearly has a higher price/Performance ratio.
A lot of console ports have stuttering issues at launch, and some never get solved.
It increases power consumption, It heats up your system a lot more and causes you to turn up your fans which increases noise and can raise the CPU temp which is big if you're overclocking.
If you get a 660 ti. By the time you likely want to add another you could probably sell the 660 ti and get the new midrange card for the around the same price and performance with the benefits of less power consumption and heat production.
