I would say, YES! Especially, as they have gotten so good this generation - it makes me want them that much better. It's like having an almost great meal - where someone flubs the desert or you get interrupted by a fire alarm, and your tasty food is cold when you get back. It still taste good, but it's apparent it's missing something.
For me this gen is so good, than when I see frame drops, or that vibratey jiggles, it frustrates me because it's so close. Games today, actually look as good as Atari's old box covers. And for some reason, a dot for a character was ok, but a Mii missing arms is starting to disturb me. I think it is because they passed the point where it is closer to Realism (or Naturalism), so that last step becomes more apparent.
So Ironically, as it's gotten better, I want more. And the demos from the next DirectX 11 make me salivate with what is coming next in DX 12 (OpenGL is good too, just using that example.) I do realize power needs to go up dramatically for a little improvement - I just want it now!
I want the cut scenes and the game scene to be the same.
Imagine if the game looked this good:
