I agree with the item part. I just can't see Balloon Fighter as being a full-fledged character.

as much as your 99% correct, lets not forget Mr. Sakurai (Creator of SSB) has done crazy stuff with characters without moves... R.O.B, Mr. Game+Watch... Heck even Fox (he was just a pilot b4 SSB!
