Well, at least one thing seems to be confirmed by Chart Track. They clearly state that, since the holidays, the PS3 has been outselling the 360 in the UK while during the holidays they were tied.
VGChartz Hardware data for the period 09th Dec 2007 to 30th Dec 2007:

Seems VGC has the 360 ahead by too much. Either 360 needs to be adjusted down or the PS3 needs to be adjusted up.
