The X360 is indeed pretty much bound to end the generation as the best selling console in the US. The X360 is currently at 38.6 million, while the Wii is at 40.6 million. (For the record, the Ps3 is at 23.6 million and the DS at 52.3 million). Edit: These numbers are for North America, not the US.
In 2012, the X360 sold 5.56 million, while the Wii sold 2.02 million. Nothing short of a miracle can stop the X360 from overtaking the Wii.
Meanwhile, it's theoretically possible that the X360 can overtake the DS, although it's quite unlikely.
