Honestly most of the games I would want to see for 720 and PS4 I would prefer to come out at least a year or so into their respective console's life cycle so the developers have more time to get used to the new hardware and can get more out of it.
Most launch games over the past couple of generations have been pretty "meh" and don't hold up well compared to games released later that gen. Halo 1 on the Xbox and SSB Melee and Rogue Squadron 2 on the GC are the few exceptions. Go back and look at some of the games that the PS2 and the 360 launched with... they look terrible compared to games available at the end of their respective gens.
