Actually the 3DS has 3D & Virtual Surround Sound Speakerphones & a second screen to layout a lot of the extra weapons, to add to the Motion Sensor aiming.
But I'm not really going in about the 3DS doing 6 speaker sound thru the earphone jack & using motion sensors & touch screen.
Plus the 3D effect makes the screen seem much bigger and does some sort of anti-aliasing that works perfectly.
But the Explaination Capcom gave in that statement was that the 3DS screen has 3D to draw people into the game. And that they would have port it to the PS Vita if it only had a 3D screen as well.
So basically Capcom said that it was the lack 3D for the Vita's 5-inch screen that drew them to not port it to the PS Vita, while the Home Consoles & PCs have TV size screens from their monitors to their TV screens to still draw people into the game without the 3D effect.
FYI the 3DS is getting a 3rd Resident Evil exclusive, that is said by Capcom to be much more better then Revelations. And the 3DS still has Mercenaries which is the first 3DS exclusive, which is good for fans of such games as Call of Duty & Battlefield & so fort.
