What's scary is that these are just the first gen (the real one no ports) games for the Wii U. I am so excited for next-gen gaming for ALL next-gen systems (720,PS4 and Wii U). I am still happy with my 360 though so I probably won't jump on the 720 right away.

That`s true.
This is the first game to actually show what Wii U can really do and it looks great. Of course, with time, like any other console, things will get even better.
And if Xbox 720 and PS4 are even better, the same rules will apply.

Yeah, I agree especially when I am expecting the 720 or PS4 to be more powerful than the Wii U (about 2-2.5x more powerful my expectations) that next gen consoles are gonna be competitive despite the challenges it faces against upstarts like Steambox, Ouya, Shield, and so called Smart Devices in general.

Xbox 720and PS4 being more powerful is pretty much a given. A little more or a lot more is what remains to be seen.
Don`t know if devices like the ones you mentioned will make an impact. So far, there are no prices and to be honest, Ouya is pretty much a smartphone. Doesn`t seem to offer anything new and Shield is just... well, it seems a bit "confusing", to say the least.
The one that can make a difference is Steambox, but even then, Steam never stopped consoles from succeeding.
Overall, i hope they aren`t that powerfull, because we aren`t in times where paying 400 or more for consoles is still a good business practice for us and for the companies.
