I would say as much as over 5:1, but ONLY if the game is a true sequel to a very highly spoken of universe which has earned the same prestige as the greatest Final Fantasy games, and maybe even higher now.

Nintendo doesn't own the Xenogears license, Sony does. Don't expect it to be anything to do with that...

Sony? I thought it was Square-Enix that owned.

Yes, my apologies it is Square-Enix. Either way, it's not Nintendo or Monolith so it won't be a Xenogears continuation.

A little more background info.  Both XenoGears and XenoSage featured mechs or gears.

Tetsuya Takahashi directed and wrote XenoGears while working at Square-Enix.   He later left and formed Monolith Soft where he created the XenoSaga series which were published by Namco (they also published Monolith's original Baten Kaitos title).

Though Takahashi himself created XenoGears, Monolith Soft as a s tudio didn't work on the title.  And the XenoSaga brand is still owned by Namco Bandai.
