Really? I thought it'd be the exact opposite. Either
A)They will want the west on renewable technologies before their oil is dry so they can have the cleapest most effective fuel to themselves for a while.
Meanwhile the west kills itself spending unneeded money on energy that puts them at a huge competitive disadvantage and by the time oil runs out? It's much closer to mass makret levels if not already there.
B) That buy pushing renewables in the US and europe they stop some of these counties drilling. Making their oil worth far more.
