I thought this was widely known?
With how often I have seen the public finances of activist organizations published that demonstrate the bulk of their funding is completely unrealted to their cause, or how the bulk of their protests are made up of people who (mostly) have no interest in the cause and really just want to protest against someone, I thought it was well known that these activist orgaizations were simply puppets.
The reason you don't see environmental or anti-war protests against progressive governments isn't because the true activists support the government on these inititives; it is because (without Union support) they can't get people out to protest, and (without funding from anti-conservative groups) their money supply dries up.
