Do you even realize what the term cracker means? It means a person who whips slaves, who was more than likely white people back in the day. In a very literal sense, they are acknowledging you as the one who is whooping them.
Also, the term nigger refers to ignorant people in general. It was used 100% on blacks back in the day but its more about a person's intelligence than their color, however slaves owners made it about the color of the skin since they believed being black automatically made you ignorant/uneducated and that's how we grew up using it. I call my friends niggers all the time, regardless of their color of skin. It's actually a fun word to use when messing around, like horseshit or bitch although i usually use nigga or nigguh.
Like I have said before, african american culture is extremely self-destructive and at some time, backwards. I've heard that as generations grow up, because of what happened to their ancestors, their mentality that they are still being oppressed lingers around and thus some don't strive for more because they "know" the white man will keep them back. I can't explain it more eloquently but basically, their past still haunts them subconsciously. I'm not sure how true this is but it sounds like it has some validity.
