39. Natural born killers, 1994, Oliver Stone
The film was shot in only 56 days, editting however took 11 months with over 3000 cuts between all the 8, 16 and 35mm footage with different filming techniques. Another 100 cuts were made for the theatrical version, to get it down to an R rating. After looking over the list of changes I think I'm fine with the theatrical version of nbk. The director's cut only adds more violence, for the most part to the prison hostage scene which is long enough already. Great movie overall with a unique visual style and great music.
