So it's pretty much confirmed that next gen we'll be seeing for the first time ever the "homogenization" of the home console industry, where all major home consoles sport comparable specs and architecture based on slightly customized versions off-the-shelf parts, rather than radically different and proprietary hardware as was the case in just about every generation up to the current one.
