Most likely not even directly and just did one of there stealth comma jobs, which keeps getting taken out of proportion int he game of telephone the blogosphere loves to pull.

Usually this would be true, but considering the MCV article confirmed that the numbers are at supposedly at least higher than the current estimate for the PS3 numbers at least.

I disagree. Hence the "telephone" thing I mentioned early. The numbers quoted by chart track were likely part of the Sony PR release. It wouldn't be the first time that it was claimed the numbers came from source, when they didn't and some other source actually released them.
