It's not a touchscreen, it's a touchpad, you know like on a Vita and laptop? Completely different from an actual screen on a controller. No one's doing a 180. Sounds like they are getting the trackpad to complement the Dualshock 4 without taking the focus away from ergonomics. Most likely the trackpad feature can be toggled on/off for user preference .
