The amount of time most people have to do to go find the old PS2, find cables, hook it up to tv... is how long it takes to fix most old PC games to run.
Personally the more annoying thing about PS3, and online wares not being transferrable is that PS2 games can be played on emulator. The PS3 one is years away. However, I'm not entitled to an emulator, and thats why I don't buy online crap.
