Not trying to sound like a whiny, spoiled child, but I think a little more effort could have been put in here. No, it doesn't need all the bells and whistles of something like Battlefield 3, but at least a few more options besides your standard ones (like v-sync).

I do agree, particularly at the 59.99 price point, and the fact they've completely neglected the PC with all the previous dlc and demo. if I didn't love this series so much, i'd for certain wait for it to drop in price, like I did with some other of their games.

But it probably includes vsync, the old ones actually has options to make it worse than console ports like turning off lighting,  shadows, and post processing (maybe that's good i'm not sure what's included in Dead Space's post processing, some games add all kinds of useless crap to it).

I could be wrong, and they completely gimped this one. But I doubt it since it uses the same engine, and the first 2 had the exact same options. Have you played the other dead space ports?

The other dead spaces actually had vsync, but was broken or ineptly made because it locked games at 30 FPS and causes severe input lag, you had to turn it off the menu in the menu and force it in nvidia control panel, and use vsync it to 60FPS or (for you 120 FPS), and force MSAA which broke, shadows above normal quality. I use SMAA with sweetfx injector.
