Actually, the article doesn't say chart-track is confirming it, it only confirms the PS3 is outselling the 360 in the beginning of 2008:
"SCE UK has confirmed to MCV that PS3 has sold a million units in the UK since its launch on March 23rd.
ChartTrack has also revealed that the Sony console has been outselling 360 for the last month. “It has been outselling 360 for the last four weeks, but they were neck and neck over Christmas the Christmas period, weeks 49-52,” said ChartTrack director Dorian Bloch.
The charts authority also confirmed that PS3 is to hit a million UK sales faster than its predecessor PS2."
Especially that last sentence seems to imply the PS3 has yet to cross the 1M mark.
