Over-all I'm quite disappointed.

Wind Waker, new Monolith Soft title, Fire Emblem cross-over are great. Yoshi is a nice bonus.

But announcing they're going to announce 3D Mario, Mario Kart and Smash Brothers at E3? What a waste of time.

No dates for Pikmin 3, Game and Wario, Wonderful 101?

Charging users to upgrade their Wii U virtual console purchases? No solid date for Virtual Console becoming available? Not even a whisper about unified accounts?

I'm less likely to buy a Wii U in the near term with that being the case. I was thinking of buying one by June, but likely it'll be the end of the year before I jump in.

Either you had waaay too much expectations or....I don't know what else.

My expectations were very low. Dating previously announced games isn't a particularly high expectation. Software wise, it's good, and software does sell systems, but Nintendo are doing a poor job of setting release dates, improving their digital policy, and making Virtual Console an attractive service again. I'm sure this is great news for some people and for Wii U owners, but I can't help but feel like I've been kicked in the teeth for buying a lot of Virtual Console games. Nintendo need to join the twenty first century and start universal accounts for their systems, rather than tying downloads to individual machines.
