Well to be completely fair, it shows how much sillier the doomcalling is, knowing full well that a new 3D Mario, Mario Kart and a new 3D Zelda will be released mid-cycle. Games that sell more than the PS3's top 10 (ignoring the 3rd party CoD).

Eh, Skyward Sword didn't sell that great and it sounds like the next proper Zelda is a long, long ways out. 

3D Mario generally sells less than 2D Mario. 

Mario Kart will help. 

Nintendo seems allergic to new franchises though.
