I was under the impression that it was 1st party since Ninendo owned the IP. Can anyone confirm whether it's technically 1st or 3rd?

Whom Nintendo owns and completely underutilizes.


To be fair, Nintendo often lends Monolith's services out to their original company owner Namco Bandai (or Bandai Namco I forget which). They just finished Project X Zone and did the previous game in that series as well.
