Japan going 'back to roots,' avoiding 'westernization' of games

Dark Souls is in no way a Japanese style game. It has Japanese difficulty, but is more akin to western developed games. Square Enix and Capcom will be focusing on the west for a good long while. Those are the heavy Japanese publishers too. Namco Bandai is no longer what they used to be.
