Wii owners, is it our fault that the Wii U isn't getting better third party support?

But developers didn't bother making games for the 100 million in the first place.

Sure they did, more games were made for it than either PS3 or 360, fact. They might not have been the games you wanted to play, but hey thats kind of your problem.
