Did Kratos become Jesus/God?

i honestly can't say much else because god of war 3 was my first and only god of war game so far

but upon beating it i really did wonder what happened when kratos stabbed himself and crawled away from the scene ( at least the blood trail implies he did ) because i wasn't really clear at all on what happened

so this really sheds some light on the whole thing 

 

i'll definitely be there for ascension though and i think that'll clear things up even more

If GOW3 was my only GOW game I would think Kratos was a pointless murder as well. The third game is the culmination of a trilogy of his struggles with the gods.The games have a reason for his rage and it can only be understood by playing the saga, but GOW3 is the worst one to base an opinion on if you want to know Kratos. If you care to understand, the sagas price should be pretty good at this point. :)
