Wii owners, is it our fault that the Wii U isn't getting better third party support?

Tales of graces. Just never got localized on wii :( When move launched there were also many up ports to ps3.

Anyway I am sure some of them will cop out but it won't be as many as last time. I'm garunteed to enjoy my new system because its going to have some good japanese support. That much I'm sure of. Its just region locked and that will make things annoying for me. Bethesda I don't care about anyway but for those that do then I hope they change their minds.

This is what is realisitically going to happen. The theory that the others come out and nintendo will completely lose third party support is likely (but again not garunteed) to be wrong. They have completely revamped their tactics to third parties now. Sure they get less sales on nintendo but to even things out they are paying higher royalties. And then they are letting people patch for free. Microsoft and sony charge. Which would people patch for if given the offer? It will all depend on how it evens out in the end.

They would be taking a massive risk by developing for those systems without knowing how well they will do. According to epic and bioware dev costs are set to sky rocket at the start of this gen and I'm fairly certain neither system will be able to sell a game for 20 - 30 million units on release. Besides that you have to factor how similar the systems are. People are certain wii u will tank when the others surface but microsoft and sony are after the exact same 'hardcore' market and both (having systems so similar to each other) will have trouble convincing people to upgrade to their side. If they keep the consoles that similar its only a matter of time before one of them caves.
