anyways, i didn't want to do analysis in the OP but two things i noticed in the data.
1. seems to be "common knowledge" that 3ds is killing in japan but failing in the west. but when you look at the data 3DS is behind/equal DS in japan and ahead of DS in USA. kind of challenges my arguments i've been making about smartphones killing the dedicated handheld space.
2. wiiU, 3DS, and vita's worst regions are all europe. now there could be many reasons why but with the economic crisis it's not a hard leap to think discretionary spending is down in that region. i predict sorry results for the ps4 if sony's strongest region isn't buying as much anymore.
