Oh, and Halo 3 outsold Mario Galaxy and Halo Reach outsold DKC Returns. I'm pretty sure Nintendo has put out more million sellers this gen than Microsoft, though. :) That said, next gen is still up in the air. With the increased cost of HD development, Ninty probably won't be able to push out as many titles as they did last gen, so they'll most likely be forced to rely on third parties a bit more, and M$ is sure to release a few fresh IPs of their own. |
I'm not convinced uncharted is a system seller. You just have to look at vita to see that. I could be wrong but it didn't make the mainstream rush out to buy it. Maybe its because vita is a handheld *shrug*.
I think nintendo will be able to. Because they have third parties they are just stretching their games out and their games make profits enough. They probably have as many games in development as they did with wii at the moment but just won't show them off because they don't feel its time. My question is how long will it take to localize monolith's game? Whatever it may be (some new ip).
