I didn't say it was cheaper than ios, just "better." I mentioned that because it goes against what most people think.


Even though you didn't say it, it was what almost everyone reading your post thought.

"The Vita is much cheaper to develop for then the 3DS. Heck I'll find you a quote saying it's better than iOS if you care. Your reasoning comes from the fact Vita games usually are way more "AAA" which doesn't really factor in with ports."

To Rafael who said "Wouldn't be surprised to see it selling more and even higher then the 3DS version." I already know for a fact that if they launched at the same time, the Vita version would NOT sell more than the 3DS version.  There's absolutely no indication that says the Vita version would do better.

On topic:

I feel a bit uncomfortable at thinking of MH4 coming to the Vita simply because of how annoying it will be if it does.  People will be all like "3DS ver. sucks Vita is best, Vita > 3DS" then the inevitable defense from 3DS owners who actually like the 3DS, and it will be an ongoing argument for several months.  I really don't want to see it.
