Remember how in the early Wii days Nintendo was not making any core 1st party games (bar the cube port that was TP and the expected Prime3). Now, we're getting Pikmin. That's clearly a core game, it's geared towards gamers in its design and level of quality.

If I'm not mistaken, Pikmin 3 began development as a Wii game. So in this respect, it's much like TP.

I understand but I was saying that Zelda was realeased on the cube and started prod much sooner kind of deal.

Which doesn't change the point that the Wii U has a similar level of "core" first-party gaming to the Wii at the same time period.

Also, Wii had Super Paper Mario within its first year, which, like Pikmin 3, was "geared towards gamers in its design and level of quality".
