You know, a lot of people only upgrade consoles if THEY FEEL the update is worth. I mean, if they fell that a lot has changed.
When you think about it, thought, Nintendo never really release a home console that blew competition away, except, of course, for the NES.
The Snes only catched up with the Genesis, with minor improvements, and it still sold a LOT.
The Nintendo 64 wasn´t even up to date with the CD tech that the PSone had.
The Gamecube was a little better than the PS2, but very little.
The Wii did not compete with nothing, it was his own thing and DESTROYED in the market.
So, I guess Nintendo thinks they don´t have to be better than anyone to turn a profit. And, history proves them right.
To me it has no appeal, because I wanted to fell the same rush and excitment I felt when I trade my Snes for a powerfull Psone, but, I know dozens of millions of gamers don´t care about that.
Well, only time will tell. But, I am sad because I really wanted to own a Nintendo console again. (I have a #DS, but it doesn´t count).
