But when it does arrive, the choice would be easy, because it would be released games (for U) versus announced games (for PS720).

What you're sayin' and what I'm sayin' are one and the same (e.g. to have must-haves ready for PS720 launch), I'm just asking if being secretive about it, though it may hurt 2013 sales, wouldn't be more powerful a strategy come the launch of the PS720.

You're saying it doesn't hurt to know, I'm saying it hurts to not know (I was conceding), but was thinking maybe it would pay off come release.

The big thing is, MS and Sony will have games for launch obviously... , we know 3rd parties will be working for titles on launch, and then there will be games that will be teased. Thats ALOT for people to think about.

The difference is that there will be 2 console companies pushing very hard to get people to buy their console and 3rd parties will be doing the same (because they know they probably wont sell many games on the Wii-U)... Thats alot pushing for a Sony/MS buy, compared to at the moment, Nintendo. So Nintendo *might* have games by the end of the year, but they are going to have to be big hitters to compete with three parties all pushing for next gen. It doesnt help Nintendo that there will also be the cheaper current gen consoles still getting releases and selling at a cheaper rate.
