'Sold out' is a very vague term and can be used to mean different things to different people. Where is the dividing line between 'Sold out', 'Limited supply', 'Low supply', etc.?

I wrote before about developing some kind of scale of supply, but it wasn't met with much enthusiasm. I guess we'll have to live with constant arguments about what constitutes 'Sold out'.
