Let's see I pay 39.5% federal income tax, 15% social security, 2.9% medicare tax, .9% medicare surcharge, 3.8% investment surtax and phased out deductions and exemptions. Fine, I pledged allegiance.
California wants 12.3 % from me with clear intentions on finding more and more ways for me to pay for the privilage. No Thanks. That's why I moved last year. This is like getting a bill from Blizzard because they decided to offer their game as free to pay for those with reported income below a certain threshold and those above just need to suck it up to keep their accounts. No thanks, not playing.
