As much as I want to see a price cut right now I do not think it will work. Mainly because there are no major games on it yet. If the drop the price now and people still see no value in it then it will be a hard sell at that new price even if games come out.
In the interim I really think they need to drop this stupid idea of basic bundle first. Then release a white premium bundle.
Then what they should do is announce some big games first (i.e. whatever 3rd party publishing exclusives deals they may have made to hype people up). I am also sure they have something ready for 1st party and are holding it for a later release date to give us an impression of a steady flow.
Then announce a price cut just before that big release or even line it up with that game.
