AAA has nothing to do with reviews.  AAA just means it has a big budget so you know.

My guess is that this game is not a AAA title.  It is certainly a high quality game and it looks beautiful in every way but I doubt that it has a AAA budget.  

Normally I would agree but the fact that it was a collaboration with Level 5 and famed animation Studio Ghibli (just for visuals), the music was written by famous Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi and performed by by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. A lot of love, time and money went into this project and I don't believe it was worth it to release on one platform. It should have came on wii and wii u and if they make another I expect release on multiple platforms to cover cost.

It's actually because it was multiplatform that the sells of the PS3 version were so low.

All the hype died down in Japan after the release of the DS version.
