It might have something to do with Valentines day. Nintendo has been pushing the whole casual thing for some time, and what better way to get casual sales than by increasing supply near Valentines day. I've seen three older females (like 30+) looking for Wiis for their significant other in the past week. I realize that this is anecdotal evidence, but I'd just like to explain where my reasoning is coming from.
