so what is happening with the WiiU?

Is it because the entire video game industry is shrinking??

Or is it a design flaw?

I'm going to chime in one more time before I go to bed but I think it has to do with a few things

1) Price - The Wii was $250 when it came out. Yes i realize the Wii U is more next gen and has a higher price tag because of this and also comes with a game but people still see the price tag and don't agree with it.

2) The Casuals ran the show with the Wii. Non-Gamers bought the Wii in droves, and the same can't be said for the WIi U... yet anyways. They need a killer title like Wii Fit (please don't laugh, the Wii Fit sold like crazy.).

3) It just came out and needs better marketing. Nintendo needs to prove that the tablet controller is bad ass and people out there (at least that come to my store) aren't even fully aware the Wii U exists. Hell, some people think the Wii U is some sort of software upgrade lol.

1. Price should be fine, but you can't charge that high for a Nintendo console. I think Nintendo learned that with the 3DS.

2. They need some unique selling point. I don't think a Wii Fit U will be enough. I think Miiverse could be this killer feature once word spreads about it.

3. Yeah. They should have named it Wii 2 or Wii HD as it makes it easier to understand that this isn't an add-on.
