That doesn't even make sense considering Ninokuni is on the DS too. Seriously, why do people say things like this? I've heard this a lot. This whole "history" or maybe even "honor" stuff. Is this a play on the "I'm an expert" meme? They won't port it because it won't be beneficial and won't sell enough to be worthwhile, not because of some "history" that you made up. Are Inazuma, Professor Layton, Fantasy Life, etc Nintendo exclusive because of some "history" too? Sorry for being harsh, but come on. |
Kain was speaking about how all third parties should port games and make them multiplatform. I'm saying that's not how Level-5 has done things, despite being a third party developer. They have their PS franchises, and more recently with this generation, now Nintendo franchises. And yes, they DO have a history together, what are you talking about? Now if Level-5's publisher wants to port exclusive games to other platforms, then so be it. But Level-5 did find their start thanks to Sony and as such, they will continue making games for them. The fact that they decided to diversify their games portfolio after leaving Sony for another publisher didn't take away from that.
