Why can't people get the Unreal Engine right?

Mass Effect 1 could have been better if they didn't use the Unreal Engine 3 but they did improve the the performance of the engine in the sequels a lot.

they made a great job in the 360 version of mass effect 3 but for example the ps3 is a fps drop fest, mass effect 2 on ps3 same fps drop fest, the visuals i agree they made a great job with those alien faces :D

Only played the first two so I don't know about the third one.  Still don't know about the series as a whole since I haven't finished either game.  The only Bioware game that I played all the way through so far is Jade Empire which was decend but nowhere near as good as the reviews made it out to be.
